
Tucked away on Burnham-on-Sea's Victorian North Esplanade are Marine Cove Gardens. It is within a conservation area and with its original timber and brick shelters, raised/walled flowerbeds, pond and formal grassed lawns, this formally laid out garden is a place of tranquility and relaxation.
Burnham-on-Sea is a town in Sedgemoor District, Somerset, approximately 11 miles north of Bridgwater and 10 miles south of Weston-super-Mare. It is joined with the neighbouring settlement of Highbridge, 2 miles to the south-east, and the combined population in 2001 was around 18,400. Burnham-on-Sea is in Bridgwater Bay, at the confluence of the River Parrett and River Brue, and is a coastal town and tourist resort.
